On the afternoon of June 12th, the cooperation and exchange event on the Chinese-African industrial chain during the 4th China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo was grandly held at the Changsha International Convention Center.Important guests including Tang Wenhong, Assistant Minister of Commerce, Michel Umurugi, Chief Investment Officer of the Rwanda Development Agency, Ahuna Izakanwa, Assistant Secretary General of the United Nations and Assistant Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme, and Director of the Africa Bureau, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

The theme of this event is "Deepening China Africa Industrial Chain Cooperation, Creating a New Future of Mutual Benefit and Win Win", focusing on key issues of China Africa industrial chain cooperation. The aim is to provide an efficient docking platform for Chinese and African enterprises, help both sides explore new opportunities and expand new space in cooperation, promote accelerated integration of the industrial chain, project implementation, promote deep cooperation in various fields, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

At the signing ceremony of the event, the "Kenya Electric Vehicle SKD Factory and Public Travel Operation" project became the focus. ZMEV、 Representatives from Shandong Port Overseas Development Group and Kenyan company jointly took the stage and successfully completed the signing. ZMEV's Li Xiuwei attended the event and signed the contract on behalf of, marking the official landing of this important cooperation project.

According to the strategic cooperation agreement signed by the three parties, the total planned investment for the next three years is 160 million US dollars to jointly explore the Kenyan automotive market. The project not only involves the procurement of vehicles from multiple brands, but also involves the construction of KD factories, vehicle charging stations, and related after-sales service stations, committed to promoting the transformation of intelligent travel and sustainable energy solutions in the Kenyan market.

The signing of this tripartite cooperation agreement not only reflects the deep cooperation and mutual trust between China and Africa in the field of new energy vehicles, but also injects new vitality into the development of the new energy vehicle market in Kenya and even the entire Africa. With the gradual progress and implementation of the project, we have reason to believe that this collaborative project will bring revolutionary changes to Kenya's public transportation, promote green development and sustainable growth of the local economy. At the same time, this cooperation will also set a new example for China Africa economic and trade cooperation, promoting deep cooperation and common development between the two sides in more fields.
