On the evening of June 10th, just before the opening of the 4th China Africa Economic and Trade Expo, Kenyan Chief Cabinet Minister and Foreign Minister Mudawadi took the time to attend and had cordial meetings with ZMEV Chairman Li Xiuwei, Shandong Port Overseas Development Group Deputy General Manager Xu Wei, and others. He also attended the subsequent dinner and had cordial conversations.

Shandong Port Overseas Development Group is an important carrier and window of Shandong Port's internationalization strategy. Since its establishment in 2020, the group has become the backbone of Shandong Port Group's international business expansion. The Group actively implements the "the Belt and Road" initiative, has set up overseas regional companies in many countries, and operates and manages many port projects. It is steadily transforming and upgrading to a "supply chain integrated service provider", with its business covering six continents. In 2023, it will also add a number of regional companies and overseas warehouses. In the future, the group is expected to deepen cooperation with ZMEV and local government enterprises in port affairs in Kenya.

During the dinner, Mudawadi highly praised ZMEV's network ride hailing services already in operation in Kenya. He said that these ride hailing services have greatly helped the local public transportation industry, and have also achieved significant results in environmental protection and employment promotion. Mudawadi expressed his expectations and optimism for the cooperation between ZMEV, Shandong Port Group, and RIDENENCE AFRICA, and revealed that he will witness the signing ceremony of the tripartite cooperation at the exhibition site on the 12th.

For ZMEV, this cooperation is a crucial step in its internationalization strategy. By partnering with Shandong Port Overseas Development Group and Kenya RIDENENC Company, the company will further expand its overseas markets, enhance brand awareness and international influence, and accumulate valuable international cooperation experience.
