On the afternoon of April 24, 2026, Mr. Shen Yumou, Director of the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province and Director of the Provincial Free Trade Office, chaired the Hunan New Energy Industry Development in Africa Coordination Meeting to advance market expansion in Africa and promote the establishment of a Hunan new energy industry alliance for Africa. Mr. Li Xiuwei, Chairman of ZMEV, attended as an enterprise representative, joining government departments, leading new energy companies, financial institutions and service providers to discuss cooperation with Africa.

At the meeting, Director Shen emphasized that Hunan has a strong industrial foundation while Africa boasts huge market potential. Focus areas include expanding cooperation channels, building practical platforms, strengthening financial support, accelerating industry alliance formation, and improving service systems to better integrate Hunan’s new energy equipment and services into African supply chains. All participants reached consensus on forming the Hunan New Energy Industry Alliance for Africa through in-depth exchanges on market expansion and localized operation.
