On April 24th, 2026, an Angolan procurement delegation visited ZMEV. We warmly received them, introduced our African business layout, and discussed new energy vehicles as well as the ZMEV Z6’s African adaptability to explore more cooperation.

The delegation, consisting of the Director of the Office of the Governor of Luanda Province, the Director of the Provincial Department of Research, Planning and Statistics, and representatives from enterprises including Invista Group and Seatrade, aimed to connect with China’s new energy vehicle industry and explore cooperation paths tailored to local market needs. The group visited the company’s exhibition hall and technology display area, learning about ZMEV’s business layout in Africa, capacity building and operation service system, with a key focus on the performance of new energy models in African markets.

During the symposium, ZMEV introduced its market presence in more than 30 African countries, including the assembly plant in Kenya, regional operation fleets and after-sales service system development, and elaborated on the localized adaptation development of the Z6 model, such as chassis reinforcement, high-temperature resistance and range optimization tailored to African road conditions, climate and user habits.

In the interactive Q&A session, Angolan representatives raised questions about new energy vehicle import policies, bulk procurement plans, spare parts supply and details of the Z6 model’s localized adaptation. In addition, the delegation showed great interest in new energy pickup trucks and 14-16-seat minibuses, took the initiative to consult relevant cooperation matters, and hoped to carry out relevant cooperation with us in Angola to explore a cooperation model suitable for local needs. Both sides exchanged views on potential cooperation models and market promotion paths, reaching several preliminary cooperation consensuses.

This visit has built a bridge for in-depth cooperation between ZMEV and the Angolan market, laying a solid foundation for future new energy vehicle exports and localized projects. Moving forward, ZMEV will continue to expand its presence in the African market, delivering customized products and localized services to advance win-win cooperation in the new energy vehicle industry between China and Africa.
