After listening to market and consumer feedback, Li has standardized the pricing of its Li i8 model. This pricing structure has been carried over to the Li i6 (parameters | inquiry). As a result, the new car only has one model, priced at 249,800 yuan, matching the starting price of the Li L6. This truly means that the entry-level model is the top-of-the-line model.
The new car continues the family-style low-drag design. The front and the A-pillars that extend forward at a wide angle create a unified shark-like shape. The 3D star-shaped daytime running lights below are the finishing touch, giving the new car a futuristic and technological look.
The body maintains the short front and rear overhangs and long wheelbase design, creating a very sleek line. The rear is still equipped with through-type taillights.
Notably, the new car introduces a front trunk, which is standard across the entire model range. It can be opened by tapping continuously, has a drain hole inside for easy cleaning, and is triple-proof: waterproof, dustproof, and odor-resistant.
The new car also features a custom luggage rack with a height of 1735mm when installed. The Li i6 also offers a detachable trailer hook (priced at 3,000 yuan) with a maximum towing capacity of 500 kg. It also features an official bicycle carrier custom-designed in collaboration with YAKIMA. It features synchronized turn signals, a dedicated EID interface for towing mode, LCC capability (auto-steering disabled) in towing mode, and a tailgate opening prevention function.
The interior design is consistent with the Li i8, featuring dual 3K 15.7-inch central control and passenger screens, a heads-up display, and a streaming media rearview mirror. The rear seats feature a 21.4-inch entertainment screen. Alternatively, a panoramic sunroof with electric sunshades is available. In terms of intelligent assisted driving, the new car will be equipped with Li AD Max (an advanced assisted driving version) as standard across the entire range. Equipped with an ATL all-weather LiDAR and an NVIDIA Thor-U chip, it boasts a computing power of 700TOPS and supports the VLA driver model. This enables full-scenario No-Apparent-Operational-Assistance (NOA), active vehicle feedback and communication of task commands, enhanced memory parking, and AES with a maximum speed of 130km/h.
In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 4950mm in length, 1935mm in width, and 1655mm in height, respectively. Its wheelbase is 3000mm, just 50mm shorter than that of the Li i8. Given its five-seat interior, this wheelbase provides significant interior space. The new car features the same seats as the Li i8, with dual reclining seats in the front row that tilt 11 degrees and offer heating, ventilation, and a ten-point massage function. The rear seats also feature power adjustment, heating, and ventilation. Furthermore, the new car comes with manual sunshades, an 8.8L dual-function refrigerator, and a dedicated tray table.
The new car is built on an 800V architecture. The two-wheel drive version has a maximum motor power of 250 kW, while the four-wheel drive version has a combined motor power of 400 kW. It also uses a new-generation 5C lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 87.3 kWh, capable of recharging 500 km in 10 minutes. The two-wheel drive version has a CLTC range of 720 km.
For the chassis, the new car utilizes a double wishbone front and five-link rear all-aluminum independent suspension. CDC continuously variable damping is standard across the board. For added comfort, the Magic Carpet dual-chamber air suspension offers two stiffness levels and four height settings. In general, judging from the positioning and comfortable configuration of Li i6, it still revolves around the "family concept". If you need to buy a family SUV, then Li i6 is a good choice.
