Leaders from the Changsha Foreign Affairs Office visited ZMEV

2025-09-10

On the morning of the 9th, Liu Xinming, First-Class Researcher of the Changsha Foreign Affairs Office; Gao Weidong, Director of the Foreign Affairs and Consular Affairs Office; and Peng Daxian, Director of the Changsha Office of Friendship with Foreign Countries, visited ZMEV LIMITED for research and guidance. Chairman Li Xiuwei and other senior management attended the reception and held a discussion.

At the discussion, ZMEV officials provided a detailed overview of the company's recent business developments. The company consistently focuses on the mobility needs of less-developed regions like Africa, building a comprehensive new energy solution ecosystem encompassing vehicle research and development, production and sales, operations and maintenance, new energy charging infrastructure, and after-sales service. With its Hunan headquarters serving as its global business management center, ZMEV relies on subsidiaries in Shandong and Xinjiang to focus on used vehicle exports and distribution in Central Asia, with an annual export capacity exceeding 5,000 complete vehicles and parts. Overseas, ZMEV has established an operational network in 10 African countries and engaged in trade cooperation with over 40 countries. Its fleet has been localized in Kenya (its East African headquarters) and Côte d'Ivoire (its West African core), two SKD plants have successfully commenced production, and 5 overseas warehouses cover major logistics hubs.

ZMEV's achievements were highly commended by the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office and, in light of the opportunities and needs facing the company's international development, a number of support measures have been proposed. The Foreign Affairs Office stated that it will actively recommend ZMEV as a local foreign affairs reception and visitor attraction to help enhance the company's international image. In its sister city development efforts, the Office will support the company's overseas expansion and foster friendly relations with relevant cities. Furthermore, in response to ZMEV's foreign service needs, the Office will, in accordance with procedures, place it on a "white list", providing priority processing for invitation letters from its international clients. Furthermore, the Foreign Affairs Office will coordinate official reception arrangements for the upcoming ZMEV client delegation from Nigeria.

This visit provides solid support and guidance for ZMEV's overseas business development. Taking this exchange as an opportunity, the government and enterprises will jointly help ZMEV achieve greater success in the international market, and further promote friendly exchanges and cooperation between Changsha and overseas regions to a new level.
