Recently, the official WeChat official account of Hunan Xiangjiang New Area Government carried out a special report on ZMEV Limited's breakthrough innovation and ecological layout in the African market, deeply decoding and praising how to start the new energy travel revolution in Africa with "hard core products+localized ecology".This content is also included in the "Study Strong Country" platform managed by the Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee.

The report emphasized the breakthrough practices of ZMEV in three major dimensions:

Firstly, create an "African exclusive tank". Based on in-depth research on road conditions in sub Saharan Africa, ZMEV has launched its first customized model, the Z6. The chassis has been raised by 8 centimeters, equipped with mining grade rubber tires, and door hinges that have undergone 200000 opening and closing tests. The battery dust rating reaches IP67, and the body is short and agile, yet it can withstand the impact of sand and gravel and bumpy dirt roads. It has been dubbed the "African armored vehicle" by engineers from partner car companies.   

Secondly, build an integrated network of light storage and charging. In response to the pain points of power shortage in Africa, ZMEV has designed charging stations as "photovoltaic energy storage charging integrated cabinets", utilizing abundant local solar energy resources to reduce charging costs while addressing the risk of power grid outages. Currently, 500 charging stations have been built, forming an energy supply network covering 16 countries.   

Thirdly, establish the "overseas warehouse+local assembly" model. Establishing 5 overseas warehouses and SKD factories in countries such as Kenya and Gabon has shortened transportation cycles by 40%, reduced vehicle costs by 50%, and deeply integrated display centers and delivery networks into the local market.   

ZMEV Chairman Li Xiuwei pointed out in an interview that "Africa is not a replica of the Chinese market, but a new solution that requires' anti manufacturing genes+low-cost ecology '. ZMEV uses real data from Kenyan ride hailing drivers to prove that the daily cost of gasoline cars is $10, while Z6 electric cars only cost $2.4. This energy cost revolution is the key to opening up the market. ”  

With the continuous deepening of ZMEV's layout in Africa, its strategic value has surpassed the export of a single vehicle. In the first half of 2025, the sales volume will exceed 4000 vehicles, and it is expected to achieve the sales target of 10000 vehicles and 500 million yuan for the whole year. More than 1000 new energy ride hailing vehicles will be deployed in 16 African countries, forming a replicable "vehicle pile network" ecological model. During the interview, Chairman Li Xiuwei also looked ahead to the Africa map at ZMEV headquarters: "In the next three years, ZMEV plans to have 100000 Chinese new energy vehicles ride on the African continent. This is not only the collective export of China's new energy industry chain, but also the construction of green transportation infrastructure for Africa, promoting the energy transformation and industrial upgrading of the entire continent. ”
